LISA KENNEDY CROOKE

Lisa Kennedy Crooke founded Silicon Valley CFO in 2007 because she has a passion for working with entrepreneurs in emerging technology environments. She has more than 25 years of financial leadership experience in both emerging private entities as well as public companies.
Lisa has a proven track record of building scalable G&A and finance functions in growing organizations. Previously, she was the CFO for Proofpoint. where she partnered with the CEO to raise venture funding and guide the company to cash flow positive prior to their IPO. Before Proofpoint, she was the CFO/Interim CEO at Fasturn where she led the process to sell the company. As corporate controller at Documentum, Inc. she created the financial infrastructure and systems to prepare the company for a successful IPO. She has also held senior financial management positions at emerging companies such as Banyan Systems, and Shiva Corporation both of whom executed successful IPOs. Lisa earned her CPA while serving for Ernst and Young in Boston and graduated with honors from Bentley University in Massachusetts.
